Gold Coast Holiday Park
Sometimes the sign ‘Under new Management’ does not seem to mean very much, but this time it means that you may well not recognise the Gold Coast Holiday Park of old, and you will be happily surprised by the changes that have happened, and are planned.
Where to start, the first thing to see are the new luxury cabins which are in a beautifully landscaped area with paths and some superb plants and bushes. Other cabins have been moved into another ‘cabin village’ within the park and completely refurbished to bring them up to the high standards being set for the park.
New roads are going in, gardens are being replanted and sites are being redeveloped to show off the natural beauty of the area. There are some huge sites which take fifth wheeler with complete ease. A curve of 12 en-suite sites is under construction with some up and running already. A lovely area by one of the rivers that surround the park has a combination of powered and unpowered sites, which will cater for all shapes and sizes of rigs and tents.
On-site entertainment is currently getting the most attention, with a major development of a brand new massive swimming pool, with a stand alone spa by the existing tennis court. Just to set the area off a restaurant and entertaining area is being built along side the pool. This area should be finished in time for Christmas, which will really set the park alive.
If you prefer to play a game of cricket or footy with the kids there is a massive grassed area which is left as a play area, with no equipment, all it needs is you and your imagination.
With all that the park is going to have ready in a very short time, you may not want to leave, but if you do then the theme parks; Movie World, Dream World, Wet ‘n Wild and Sea World; are all close by, as is the Gold Coast. One of the best ways to see the Gold Coast is from the air and there are plenty of opportunities from sea planes to helicopters. The reception has a tour booking service and heaps of information to help you find exactly what you want.
Just to make sure that all of the family can come and enjoy the park, there is a dog friendly cabin available, but you do need to book this one in plenty of time and bring your dog’s inoculation papers with you. If you still have room in the car, then bring your BMX bikes along, as there is a great dedicated BMX bike track on the park.
The website is also going to have a whole new look to it, with plenty of information about the changes that have taken place and it will keep you up to date with the swimming pool and restaurant development.
Under new management at the Gold Coast Holiday Park means a whole new approach to delivering the best holiday at the highest standard possible, for you and your family.
